Schedules of the Indian Constitution
I.1st Schedule: List of States and Union Territories.
II. 2nd Schedule: Salaries and emoluments of President, Governors, Chief Justice, Jusged of High Courts and Supreme Court, Comptroller and Auditor General ands other authorities.
III. 3rd Schedule: Form of Oaths and Affirmation.
IV. 4th Schedule: Allocation of seats in the Council of States.
V. 5th Schedule: Provisions as to the administration and control of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes.
VI. 6th Schedule: Provisions for administration of tribal areas in the states of Assam, Meghalaya, Tripura and Mizoram.
VII. 7th Schedule: Allocates powers and functions between the Union and States. Contains three lists of subjects viz. Union List, State List and Concurrent List.
VIII. 8th Schedule: List of 22 national languages recognized by the Indian Constitution.
IX. 9th Schedule: (Added by the 1st amendment in 1950): Contains Acts and Regulations related to land tenure, land tax, railways and industries.
X. 10th Schedule: (Added by the 52nd amendment in 1985): Provisions as to disqualification on ground of defection.
XI. 11th Schedule: (Added by the 73rd amendment in 1993): Powers, authorities and responsibilities of Panchayats.
XII. 12th Schedule: (Added by the 74th amendment in 1993: Powers, authorities and responsibilities of 3 types of Municipalities. 0 0 0.
